OK, so for my first post. I really wanted to share my personal experience with tooth pain or commonly referred to as gum pain.
From a very young age , I would at times have random spikes of pain in my mouth area. This is mostly because when I was young I was very careless of my gums, I would only brush my teeth once a day.
After constants trips to the dentist , I learnt that by not brushing my teeth I was letting the bacteria inside my mouth to thrive and live. By brushing twice a day as recommended , I was able to get rid a lot of the bacteria and the pain eventually subsided and healed.
In this post, I want to discuss some of my favourite toothache remedies and treatment options. First of all , I am not a doctor so please be careful when attempting these remedies. Be sure to check with your dentist beforehand if possible, I understand that not everyone has the luxury of visiting the dentist, In fact I myself despise going to the dentist. Not because I hate doctors and dentists , it is because I hate being operated on. Each time I go to the dentist I would come out all sad and in pain.
My first remedy I want to introduce is Garlic. I would recommend chewing on a small piece of garlic at least once a day. Why? Because garlic contains various antibiotic properties as well as medicinal properties that can heal a toothache.
My second remedy is Cloves, another popular herbal remedy. Similar to garlic, it is not only a natural remedy but it is also very affordable. Cloves generally contain anti-biotic , anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial properties and more. I would recommend that you grind Cloves and use a mouth rinse. Of course you can add a few extra ingredients into it such as oil.
My third favourite remedy is Onions. Onions like the above 2 are very cost effective as well as 100% natural. Similar to the garlic, it is recommended that you chew on it and repeat at least once a day. If possible try aim for more as it'll be stronger and you'll see results faster but don't overdo it. I would advise going no more than 3 a day. If you don't like the smell of garlic or cloves or Onions, you can try placing a small piece on your gums and letting it rest for a few minutes. Or you can crush it up and mix a mouth wash solution. Add a few drops of lemon to sweeten the mouth wash.
I wish you the best of luck in getting rid of toothaches, I understand how frustrating it is to have toothaches especially when I'm talking.
